The workshop that we propose when we work with groups of non-professional local participants aims to put in relation a work on body awareness through movement with a creative work on ideas developing towards several public presentations.
The body practices involved are mainly based on a fine incorporation of anatomical and sensorial mecanisms, respectfully to the physical abilities of each participant.
Precisely, we are exploring through physical exercises and structured improvisations the links between our perceptions and sensations, focusing on how to use them as a support for our actions.
A particular attention is given to our ways of perceiving our own bodies in relation to their environment, to our senses and how they interact with our movements and actions.
Even if this workshop aims towards public presentations and consequently towards the production of a spectacular form, it is strongly grounded on a base of practice that privileges the experiment, the dialogue and a detailed exploration of the body in movement.
